Job description
Under the supervision of the Executive VP, the Quotation Specialist is responsible for analyzing pricing requests for printed circuit board (PCB) manufacturing and preparing quotations.
They serve as the link between the Sales, Technology/Engineering, Production, and Procurement teams to ensure proposals are competitive, accurate, and compliant with customer requirements.
Responsibilities
- Analyze RFQs (requests for quotation) and technical documents (Gerber files, BOM, IPC specifications, technical drawings)
- Validate manufacturing feasibility in collaboration with the Technology/Engineering department
- Prepare cost estimates
- Work with Purchasing to obtain supplier pricing
- Set sales pricing while meeting target margins
- Draft and send quotations within required deadlines
- Follow up with Sales Representatives
- Keep cost databases and pricing history up to date
- Track technical revisions and changes (ECNs)
- Analyze lost quotes to identify improvement opportunities
- Perform any other related tasks as required by the role
Technical Skills
- Experience in manufacturing management in the electronics sector (essential)
- Comfortable with computer tools (Word, Excel, etc.)
- Knowledge of the electronics field
- Knowledge of ISO 9001 and ISO 13485 standards

- Organized; able to manage priorities effectively
- Strong analytical and logical thinking skills
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple files/projects simultaneously
- Strong relationship-building skills with business partners
- Excellent communication skills
- Technical bilingualism (English and French), spoken and written
