AUTOMATED LINE OPERATOR

Reporting to the SMT department supervisor and the Production Director, the position involves taking charge of all the automated production steps of the products (printer, automatic placement machines, and oven) to achieve the objectives in terms of quality and quantity defined by the management.

PRODUCTION
CLERK

Your work will consist of handling electronic cards to test, cut, assemble, and package them as needed. You will be called upon to operate simple equipment using a touchscreen or computer.

Reporting to the welding department supervisor, the assembler-welder inserts and welds electronic components, SMT or TH, and/or mechanical onto electronic boards.

  • Experience in micro-soldering or in the electronic field an asset

  • Very good visual acuity

Automated line programmer

As an Automated Line Programmer (SMT), you will play a key role in the performance of our SMT assembly lines.

Reporting to the Director of Operational Excellence and Special Projects, the Automated Line Programmer (SMT) is responsible for programming, start-up, and adjustments during production, while collaborating with production teams to optimize processes.

  • Program and optimize SMT assembly lines according to product and customer specifications.
  • Ensure start-up and adjustment of production lines.
  • Provide technical support for automated lines.
  • Validate all new programs on the production line and ensure proper operation.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of programs and configurations.
  • Follow procedures and instructions.
  • Comply with IPC standards.
  • Communicate progress and any issues encountered to the Director.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of manufacturing processes.
  • Work as part of a team with operators and other programmers.
  • Perform any other related tasks as required.
  • Knowledge of electronic components (values/polarities).
  • Familiarity with SMT machines and related programming software.
  • Previous experience in an electronic production environment.
  • Knowledge of IPC-A-610 manufacturing standards.
  • Experience programming automated machinery (Universal, DEK).
  • Knowledge of other SMT assembly equipment, an asset.
  • General knowledge of ISO 9001:2015, IATF 16949:2016 standards.
  • Ability to diagnose and resolve technical problems.
  • Rigorous, organized, and team-oriented.
  • Good visual acuity.
  • Strong communication skills with colleagues.

Process Technician

The Process Technician plays a key role in developing manufacturing methods.

Reporting to the VP Technology, the Process Technician defines manufacturing processes to optimize production resources and ensure efficiency, performance, quality, and standardization.

When required, he must analyze and improve the documentation of ongoing production processes.

  • Define the various stages, methods, and manufacturing processes of a product according to project realities and client requirements.
  • Create detailed work instructions based on client requirements and company standards.
  • Participate in the design of products and manufacturing tools.
  • Contribute to continuous process improvement and propose improvement plans related to manufacturing and quality procedures.
  • Provide technical support to the production and quality teams by making necessary adjustments or troubleshooting production processes.
  • Ensure compliance and follow-up of documentation.
  • Work in collaboration with the documentation and production teams.
  • Enhance the operation and use of Virtual Process to better guide production procedures.
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
  • Perform any other related tasks necessary for the proper functioning of the organization, as required.

  • College diploma in a related field or relevant experience in electronics.
  • Knowledge of IPC-A-610 and 600 standards and electronic components (values/polarities).
  • Ability to read electronic schematics / BOM.
  • Knowledge of ISO 9001, ISO 14001:2015, IATF 16949, ISO 13485 standards.
  • Knowledge of antistatic procedures.
