We collect your personal information through your direct interaction with the SMT website (for example, by filling out request forms on the Employment page). Information is also collected through automated technologies, namely cookies. 

Personal information is any information that relates to a natural person and allows, directly or indirectly, their identification. It does not include information where the identity has been removed (anonymized data).

The personal information we collect and process will depend on how you interact with us via our website (for example, Contact Us page, Careers site, payment data, etc.). This may include, but is not limited to:

  • Identity data - such as first name, last name, username, or similar

 

  • Contact data - such as email address and phone number

 

  • Employment-related data - if you apply for a vacant position, curriculum vitae, cover letter, or other employment documents.

We also collect your personal information if you physically visit our facilities and keep this data in a secure register on the Swipedon site and in the company's administrative assistant's email box. The visitor notice, including the visitor's name and photo, is emailed to the SMT employee with whom they have an appointment. The visitor notice is then stored on the secure Swipedon site and deleted from email boxes.     

The collection of certain personal information is subject to specific consents. SMT is committed to using only the personal information necessary and for the purposes for which it was collected. In the event that SMT wishes to use your personal information for a purpose other than that described in the Policy, we must obtain your prior consent.

2. Use of Information to Improve Service Performance and Content of Our Website

We may collect information about you and your use of our website through technical means, such as cookies, web page counters, and other analytics tools.

We use cookies to help you navigate efficiently and to perform certain functions. Cookies that are categorized as "necessary" are stored on your browser because they are essential for enabling basic site functionalities.

Furthermore, you can choose not to participate in the automated collection of information by service providers' advertising networks for the purpose of delivering advertisements tailored to your interests by visiting the consumer opt-out page and modifying or disabling your advertising preferences for Google's Display Network at https://myadcenter.google.com/. The same service is also offered by other browser services.

We will retain your personal information only for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes for which we have collected it, including to meet any legal, contractual, or reporting requirements. To determine the appropriate retention period for personal information, we consider the amount, nature, and sensitivity of the personal information; the potential risk of harm from unauthorized use or disclosure of your personal information; the purposes for which we process your personal information and whether we can achieve those purposes through other means; and the applicable legal requirements.

In certain circumstances, we may anonymize your personal information so that it can no longer be associated with you, in which case we may use this information without further notice.

  • Protect your personal information.
  • Process your personal information in a lawful, fair, and transparent manner.
